Hi, My IE kept closing down suddenly, producing an error message which says: Appname iexplore.exe appver 6.0.2800.1106 Modname msvcrt.dll modver 6.1.8293.0 Offset 00015ca2 Anyway, I attempted to fix IE by: Start--> Run--> msinfo32--> Tools I did this because I was following the instructions here: http://www.computing.net/windows95/wwwboard/forum/161163.html Anyway, I don't know if this solved the problem because now everytime I try to load up Internet Explorer, the pages say: Page cannot be displayed Cannot find server I'm using a different PC at the moment, but I urgently need to get the other one up and running - please can anyone help?!!! It might look that by using msconfig32 ur IE settings and all got reset. Try this: go to -> IE menu -> Tools -> Internet Options -> Connection -> Lan Settings set you mode of connections again and try connect the internet again. Hemant K Tongaria (New Delhi, India) htongaria@hotmail.com

You may also want to try going to Start, Run, (type in) regsvr32 urlmon.dll and then hit the Ok button to reregister the urlmon.dll file. If you still have problems then post back for more info. Bryan

I installed msvcrt.dll version 6.0.8397.0. Seems to have fixed the problem
