Hi!
anyone out there who can help me with a big problem. I just reformatted my harddrive, and now when I try to run some applications I get those errors, "can't find msvcp60.dll", and "the file mech3.exe is linked to an export, mfc42.dll:6880, that doesn't exist".
I need some help solving these problems.
Plz help!

First of all,the mech3.exe program is calling the dll files in question, thus causing the problem. Have you checked usinging Find Files or Folders to see if these dll's reside somewhere else on your computer? Check the c:\windows\system sub-directory first. If they are NOT there, but a copy is somewhere else, then using Windows Explorer, make a copy of the dll files and put them in the c:\windows\system sub-directory. If there are copies in the c:\windows\system sub-diretory but nowhere else, then make a copy of them from there to the same sub-diretory where mech3.exe resides. Sometimes, dll files must be called by the exe program file to the same subdirectory in which the exe program file resides.

Try this strategy first to resolve the problem.
