go to start/run--type sfc. Now you want to restore that dll, if you don`t have the win cdrom, browse to your windows/options/cab folder. It`s located in the pws folder.

Thank you soooooooo much Bob T. I found this page through the Google search engine, whilst trying to locate information on my missing MSVCIRT.DLL. I've had a problem with this for over a week until I read your response # 1. You're the BEST !!
