Hi everyone, this thing has me stumped, and i'd appreciate any help you could give. My new Microsoft Sidewinder GameVoice software uses MSN Messenger for contact lists and chat. On my old comp, there wasn't any problem. But now, after installation, it won't run on startup, the shortcuts won't work, and even going to the Program Files\Messenger directory and running msmsgs.exe, absolutely nothing happens. No errors, no system freeze, nada. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. If you need more info about my comp, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Bradley!
Try to restore the registry you had before and see what happens. How to do it? Go to the DOS command prompt and from there write SCANREG/RESTORE then follow the instructions. You will get a few choices. Just choose the registry backup file you had before you installed the new program. If this doesn't help then try to fix your registry.Use any registry cleaner.Good luck!

I have had the same problem since april and I've tried just about everything, including deleting half my registry, downloading a new version of Internet Explorer and so on. I would really like to be able to run this program again and would appreciate anybody's help
