msn messenger doesnot work even log in

my msn messenger is not working properly even i log in properly n i aslo can c all the buddies but....... as i open any buddy which is online then the messege box seems blank. although the buddy send me any messege also then i can c his messege plz help me in this menner, i tried to reinstaal it after uninstall it but the problem is stil same, one day i reinstall my win98 then it became right,,,,, wat would the problem kindly send me the whole procedure i ll be very thank ful to all

Make sure that you have filled out all the items when registering for passport. Other than that all I would say is to download the program again and reload. Don't use the one that you have now it may be bad. Download from here: http://messenger.msn.com/download/download.asp
