Comment:

I am trying to install a computer game (Bought from a shop) using Win98 and get the "Illegal operation" message when trying to install. It also says something about an invalid page fault module MSIEXEC.exe at 0167:00406d12. I also downloaded something of the web and this came up with the same message. However, some applications do install ok, wich is weird.

I have tried the following:

1. Copy folder to c:\ and try to install
2. Try installing in safe mode

Anyone, please help!
