Just looked this up, it explains what it is, but I don't know why it's hogging all of your CPU process. Process File: msgsrv32 or msgsrv32.exe Process Name: Windows Message Server Description: The Windows Message Server Loads Windows Drivers and the Program Manager at start up.it runs invisibly in the background performing a variety of essential services, a significant majority of which being to do with on-screen messages and notifications.

It might be one of the applications that you are running that is constantly accessing msgsrv32. Try using the Close Program window to shut down processes (except Explorer) to see if one of them is the problem.

msgsrv32 is such a fundemental part of Windows that whenever anything goes wrong, it is usually in the vacinity and gets the blame. It is usually something else that causes the problem and msgsrv32 that finds it. Practically every non-trivial application ever written for windows uses msgsrv32.
Do like Jim suggests and close down other modules until you can track down the cuplprit. It can take a fair bit of detective work.
