Hi when I create a table in Word (Office 2000) and select no border from the line style drop down the tables are invisible which causes quite a problem when I am working because I have set a template out the way I would like everything to be in place and its hard to tell where the lines are if you know what I mean.
I have uninstalled office 2000 and reinstalled it that didnt work and I have checked in the options and had a go at trial and error problem fixing so if you know what it is I am missing I will be much appreciated thanx.

I have to beecause i dont want the borders to be printed i only want them to be partialy visible so i can see what i am doing every other computer i work on is able to do this
I suppose i could highlight the the table and work with a solid border then return it to an invisible one but the computer in question is my dads and he hasnt got a clue basically how to do that.
He's using 98 by the way ime on xp but my computer in work is 98 and the borders are ok on that.
I have even tried adjusting the apperance in display properties

Try using the Tab key to navigate when you are unable to view the borders.

With MS Word opened, go to table, click on "Hide Gridlines"
