Comment:

I have an EPOX mobo and until a few months ago i had both an SB live installed and AC97 enabled and everything worked fine including my force feedback wheel (connected to the sb live gameport)
After i upgraded to SB Audigy, my force feedback wheel is not found by win98se. I tried connecting it to the AC97 game port which is MPU-401 compatible(the wheel is not compatible with my sb audigy - asked the wheel maker for support). There was no change.
Could someone please provide a suggestion to make the wheel work (through AC97) without me having to go back to the sb live? Appreciate any help.
Thanks

Paul

Have you tried reinstalling the wheel`s drivers so that they pick up the gameport on the SB Audigy?
