I'm getting the error "MPREXE caused an invalid page fault in module MPRSERV.DLL"

I've looked it up, and found only posts about *pwl files..I've tried reinstalling, deleting these files and such..the problem persists.I didn't make changes to these files, nor did I install anything that would change or replace these files...HELP

Hi, I found that when you install the windows shutdown suppliments for win 98se that they change several files, user.exe, mprexe, mpr.dll to name a few. Try reinstalling those suppliments that may help.
