I am running Win 98 on a new pc.
When I play back some of my burnt mp3s, they all play too fast.
Sounds like Alvin and The Chipmunks!
I have a SoundMAX driver, but am unsure of the card I have.
The directx test seems to work fine in dxdiag.
Anybody have a cure?

are they burnt as audio CDs? If so how do they play in an audio CD player?

What software are you using to burn? Have you tried decoding before burning? What drive are you using?
