I'm running Windows 98 with winamp as my default audio player. I want to add some MP3 music as backround music to one of my older games that only seems to want to play boring after awhile midi files. I tried renaming the MP3 file but that didn't do it. Can it be done or am I wasting my time?
I don't know if you can convert MP3s to MIDI format. My guess is no. But you could search the Web for MIDI files and use those to listen to while playing your games.

You can't convert mp3 files to midi format. I am not going to say it is impossible, but if you could there wouldn't be any point. They would sound terrible. You are better off getting some midi files off the web as Blah suggested.
