Having got to grips with downloading mp3s to my hard drive, now I want to play them. I have a cd writer, software winoncd, but I need to convert the files first. Do i need to convert them to wav, and if so can anybody advise on a good free alternative than buying the software.
At the moment I still use Winamp. Just takes a few seconds per song. Here's a link to 'how to' and d/l converters including Winamp: Mp3 to Wav Hope this helps.........ck
Hummm, let's try again: Mp3 to Wav Sorry........ck

in the burner program, create New - AUDIO- , drag n' drop the mp3's when it burns the cd, it burns it as an audio CD that will play in a stereo.
If you create New - DATA - drag n' drop the mp3's you will make a DATA disk to play in the PC.
