Ok, I am trying to play some MP3's in WMP9, but everytime I try it comes up with this message:

Cannot play back the audio stream: the audio format is not supported.

I was wondering if there is an important file that is missing on my computer that could be causing this problem. If someone knows how to fix this it would be a great use. Thx

Can I get WMP10 for Windows 98SE? I thought anything above WMP9 was only for XP.

Have you tried to google the instruction booklet? There could be a PDF format out there for it. Or have you tried going to the manufacturers website? They could also probably have some information on it.

I think there is something wrong with the WMP9 file overall cause i uninstalled downloaded a new copy and reinstalled, but it still says the exact same problem. It's weird that after I plugged in my USB headphones though that it wouldn't play MP3's anymore. But before hand it would. The Headphone Drivers wouldn't interfere with this would they?
