Using Outlook Express 6. How do I move my inbox from the C:\ to my D:\. My *.pst file is getting huge and taking up space on my C drive. If there is some way to point the *.pst file to point to the D:\ could you help me out and inform me of how to go about this.

You can change the location of your storage file...(it's NOT a *.pst file, .pst files are used for Outlook, but NOT for Outlook Express)...
Tools>>Options>>Maintence>>Store Folder button...Change button, and put it where you want it...
Hope this helps
Steve

Steve,
After I do this, can I then delete the files where the emails where being store previously without losing all my data?

Note the location where the stuff is stored...the default location in XP will be
C:\Documents and Settings\your name\Local Settings\Applicaton Data\Identities\{then a long bunch of alpha/number characters that will make no sense at all}\Microsoft\Outlook Express.....It is that long bunch of numbers etc that identifies you as the actual user...there may be more than one of these in there depending on how many people use your computer...
NOw, I am not sure if when you move your stuff to D:\ drive if it will MOVE or if it will COPY the info...if it MOVES the data, then you're ok...if it COPIES then open up Outlook once or twice, go to tools>>options etc and make sure it is point to your new spot on the D:\ drive then you can go back to the original location and delete it...
Now, another thing I am not real sure about, because the Outlook data is on your C:\ drive it may NOT allow you to delete it...
Walk it through, watch what you are doing and if you have any issues, post back...
Good luck
Stevew
