I am purchasing a new computer that has WinME. I want to move the files on my other computer that has Win98(SR2) to the new one, including registry entries for the moved files.

If you want to retain ME as the opperating system it would be tricky to copy the registry entries and system files over as it would conflict with the diofferent opperatying system.
You could however install the Harddrive off the old computer in the new one and copy data files, and you would have to re-install most applications. If you want to have 98SE instead of ME it would be fairly easy. There are programs that will let you place the contents of one hardrive on the other including the bootstrap.
