HI! I have some big movies files (.avi & .mpeg) that I need software for to split them up in order to back them up an 700 mg CD's. I have tried some of the software out there, but it always says that it does not support compressed audio. If any of you knows of a program, especially freeware or shareware, that can handle this, please let me know! Pix

Hi Pixy, I'd like to find one too. But I'm hoping for a freeware one. Hopefully one that will let me pull out certain parts of my videos..and then edit them by speeding them up and/or slowing them down for comic effects of my kids.
I hope someone knows of one and will let us know about it here.

I have heard of that one. I downloaded it a week ago, and am still trying to figure it out. It seems to always tell me the compression it's set or the audio won't do this or that....and once I think I've got it to work, I get an error when I try to play the modified clip file.
