While on the internet my mouse cursor keeps
freezing after a couple of minutes and I have
to reboot. The only thing I have done recently is reconfigure the com ports. Could
this be related?

Yes! Mouse is normally on com 1. It sounds like you created a conflict. Try to get mouse back on com 1 and take anything else on com 1 to another com. Good luck! Bob

Yes ,What you did with com ports is what has made the mouse freezing .

Mouse usually uses COM1 ,don`t use the port for another device ,put the ports configuration back .

I've had the same prob, but my modem doesn't let me change it from COM1. It's not a drop-down box. What can I do.
It automatically assigns itself to COM1.
