My mouse cursor jumps to a different location when I am using it. As I move the cursor to a spot it is suddenly at the upper left corner. I must keep trying and finally get it where I want.
Have changed the mouse but not the driver. What is a good driver for a generic mouse?
Any other ideas?

Win98SE has a perfectly good built-in mouse driver.
"Any other ideas?"
Virus or prank?

Thanks Jim
I scanned for virus's, none
Prank, I don't think so as there is only one other user beside myself.

does the cursor leave mouse poop behind? (when the mouse is moved does it leave trails behind it?) the mouse driver should be fine if its a BASIC mouse. try a new mouse.
