Mouse Cursors not animating at all.

My mouse cursors stoped animateing. I formatted and reinstalled win 98se and still no animation. Using S3 Trio64V+ at 1024x768x16bit color. please help, tried all kinds of installing, reinstalling, deinstalling then reinstalling. Nothing.

Hi, I have copied this from a previous post, it might give you some idea where to start;
when you reinstall windows you must also reinstall any plugins you were using, like shockwave, or flash shock. these would be two that control the animation of your cursors. sometimes you need the file: brundle.dll. these are just a few things to check.

Still no luck. I installed IE 6 with the latest shockwave & flash stuff. I dont Have a file called "brundle.dll" This file also does not exist in the windows 98 cab files on the cd. I ran "Extract /A /E /L C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM Base4.cab brundle.dll" it searched all the *.cab files and said "No matching files" I did a seach for it on yahoo, google, msn, lycos, and aol search. didn't find anything. nothing. still no animation. The cursors used to animate just fine till I Had a registry error. then they stopped. so I backed up stuff and formatted and reinstalled win 98se. and still no animation so I posted here, etc.
