I am look for utility software that will make a beep when left click or right click the mouse, my 85 year old mom is learing how to use computer but she is having a hard time to know if the button is actually activated, so I am looking for feedback when button is pushed, thanks for helping.

Hi Bryan, I am sorry, my mom computer is running on XP and I do not see the other tab and sound feed back function. This was the first place I look for also. I also do not see this option in the my computer which is running 98se. Thanks for your help.

If her computer is running XP, then the XP Forum is the proper place for this question.
Regardless, the mouse itself clicks when one presses the left or right mouse button. Or, are you looking for a "Sound" from the computer? If so, she'll need to remember to turn on her speakers or leave them on all the time. Those click sound options would be under Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices Properties, Sounds.
If that's not enough, why not Google?

Well in the sound and audio device property/sound, you can choose the sound for launching program, deletes, etc. which i already set it up for her but there is no mouse left/right click sound option. I also already try google using 'mouse clicking sound feedback' not much there either, but i will keep on searching. the mechanical tacktile feedback from the switch is not enough for her that's why I want her to hear a beeping sound of some kind for her. Thanks for all the suggestion.

yes I sure did, I also found that some other people has the same problem as I do, there is no mouse click option showing in the sound and audio devices properties, some were suggested to reload the windows default sound scheme to get the mouse click sound optiton back, I try that on my computer but still no luck. I also found a lot of suggestion when i search using "mouse click sound". By the way, does your sound/audio properties show any mouse click sound option?
Thanks for your help.

I found this:
And a Google search for "mouse sounder" brought up these results:
