How do i find out what type of motherboard i have. I have no manuals. I know that it has an onboard sound and video adapter. Any ideas?

Check windrivers.com. they have a page on motherboard identification. you might want to remove your cover before you go there so you can id the chips on the board.

When you first boot up the numbers are on the screen with the memory test. Hit the Pause button on your keyboard to keep it from changing. Both the MOBO ID and chipset numbers are on the screen. Write them down and go to the below link.
