This is probably the best on the web, but there are a few others that are good just not as busy as this site.

Diversity is the key to life, a teacher once told me, you can only learn so much from the people who surround you, so to contine in your journey of life, surround yourself with as many and as much as possible!
Thanks matofthemint and JohnT
Will and Dave ....... well, I hope you get it!

Well Lynn, I like your theory. Only it won't hold water here. You see most anyone who looks for a computer help forum stumbles in here, and once they come here they keep coming back. You can only learn so much from one person? Maybe true in another part of the universe, but here we all just keep learning and teaching. I have learned more from computing.net in 2 years than I ever could from any dumb ole book. Sure the old folk may not post as much as when they first came around. It doesn't mean we're gone. And we are still learning from the newcomers and the newbies. And the newbies eventually become the old folk, so we just sit and absorb everything offered by this vicious cycle of computing.net. No one ever leaves for good, well unless you really mess up big time and get banned. There are other sites, but none that hold a candle to computing.net. Sorry guys, friends are friends but computing.net is the best. I know you all understand. So good luck in your journey of forum searching, but I am very sure we'll see you back here often.
Terri

Well, Tek-Tips (http://www.tek-tips.com) is also a good forum.
Terri, it's true that Computing.net is one of the, if not the very, best support forums (IMHO). But I have at times found questions and/or answers on other forums that I have not found here. I don't see in Lynn's post any indication that she was looking for another forum to replace this one, just that she was looking for additional resources (which I think is smart).
BTW, thanks to matofthemint, JohnT, and Bill in SD, Ca for some more forums I can look at.

Cheers to DaveStL!
Some one who READS a question! This is a great site
Thanks to DaveStL, matofthemint,John T, Someone and Bill in SD, Ca plus any others who will contribute if the future. Now I have the resources to find most if not all my questions.
Oh Ya, Lynn is my last name ....

Can I add my humble opinion. I did the A+ and N+ courses recently and I was probably the most frustrated "Technician" cause I knew nothing after completion. But I have learnt more over the past 6 months than I had done in both courses. This is THEEEEE!! site to consult if you want to get answers.
