I finally got 98 se installed but it only has 16 colors. How do i get more colors?

It all boils down to drivers. Get Everest Home Edition, install it, run it. It will tell you what graphics (video) card you have, if it's on-board or AGP, etc. It also provides links to the various hardware manufacturers with hardware in your system.

Once you've identified the video card, you can go about downloading the latest drivers for it.
