After ATT@home technicians installed an ethernet card and driver on my computer, everytime I boot up, the monitor won't automatically turn on. I have to keep re-booting several times before it will? What could be causing this problem. Power is going to the monitor and it has turned on before, but now I can't get it to turn on at all.

hrmmm... obviously everything looks like it's pluged in and hooked up properly huh? I had a similar problem once, turned out the card wasn't properly installed. Maybe open the case and check to see if the ethernet card is installed correctly. Did it work after they left?

when i fiddle around amongst the 'plug in cards' and plugs in my computer, i have myself occassionally disturbed other things like the video card which just needs pushing down again to get better contact - check this and make sure plug at back is tight. Everything inside is in delicate balance. Call back those other guys if you don't feel sure about doing it yourself, anyway they probably caused it.

Hi, Do you get a beep code when you first boot up? If so check that the video card is seated properly and the monitor cable is secured to the video card. Those thumb screws are there for a reason.
