i have aplle multiple scan 17 display monitor & i have windows 98 os installe don my machine but the problem is monitor display is sheky or blured so which diver or which software i have to installed so that the diaply get clear

Driver Forum

You should be able to get it there. Bear in mind that you will still be limited by the Monitor hardware (picture tube) and the display adaptor (Video board). If you cannot do better with the latest available video driver, you will have to spend some money.

To inspect/modify yout display properties, go to:

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Display>Settings

Note 'Screen Area' and 'Colors'
If you can change the settings in "Colors' and 'Screen Area', you are in business. If not, you will need to buy a newer monitor and/or Display adaptor and latest Video Driver.

The following may indicate what type of Display Driver you have:
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Information>(+)Components>Display

Be patient and eventually it may show the model of the Display Adaptor plus much other info you may not want or understand.
[You will get less information by: Right Click My Computer > Properties> Device Manager> (+) beside Display Adaptors]


Go to the manufacturer's site and download the latest drivers. Or go to:

99.99% of modern monitors use generic windows drivers...

Madhura go to Start>settings>Control panel>display>settings>advanced>change refresh rate to optimal, chances are its set too low, after click apply etc. HTH

don't use higher clock for your display, it can damage your display

in monitor ,it has only 16 color modes,
what should be bone for 256 color mode
