I let my cousin use my computer, when i got it back, the contact on the monitor cable was bent all the way down and touching the bottom of another contact. now my computer monitor wont work. the led light for the monitor comes on, but no picture. when i turn my computer on, it usually makes a beep (the bios tests), but now it dont even do that! did my motherboard or anything go bad?
its a ibm aptiva, prolly a 98. it has onboard video card and everything. i even tried using 2 different video cards for it, but still nothing. the same problem every time. if someone could help me, please.
