recently my (comcast) cable modem has been restarting every 5 seconds or so. i also have a dlink di604 router. ive noticed that when i unplug a certain computer the cable modem doesnt reset anymore and all is fine. also after a restart (on the problem computer) the modem is fine for a little while. i cant find the problem anywhere, i dont have any viruses, i ran nav2001, spybot s&d, spywareblaster, and adaware6.

i think but i am not sure that the problem has something to do with either aim 5.0.2938, abyss web server X1, or a combination of the two; the modem seems fine when both are closed btu will reset if i have either one open. Ive been using both for over a year with no problems like this. im so confused and i have no clue what exaclty the problem could be, any ideas?

i know what the problem is, but i have no clue how to fix it. i dont think aim has anything to do with the problem, any time someone on my network, or someone online downloads something from my site, the modem restarts several times, i dont know why all of a sudden this is happening.
