I have an Aopen fm56-sm soft pci modem running windows 98 on a LAN connection.Ihave been trying to play "online" multiplayer games, such as Infantry at "the station.com".When I try to play the game it tells me the server could not be found then my modem disconnects from the net. When I reconnect the speed is so slow the modem disconnects again,Ihave turned off the flow control and the error control like the web sites tell me to ,if I have this problem, and still the same thing.I have also tried a program called"tweakdun" to change the packet size but that did not help.I use to play multiplayer with this same computer and modem all the time, now i can't.Oh yes by the way I have tried different games at different sitesand i still have the same problem. Thanks
