I have installed a HSP56 MicroModem and drivers. I cannot connect with it though. I have set BIOS settings and Windows settings correctly. It is on Com2 and IRQ 11 with no conflicts. The modem constanly give me and error 777 when I try and dial up. I used various at commands and it dials out find. I used atd phone_number and it dialed out yet it will not do it automatically. The drivers have been reinstalled also. Does anybody have any other suggestions?

BudgieMan is on target, if wrong drivers installed you can get a 777 Dun error, even though win95/98 NT are not supposed to get it. Troubleshooting site below
