I friend has a computer that had a virus.
Since the virus his modem is not working.
I tried the normal things like removing it from the hardware list and reinstalling everything but still it has the following problem.
It starts to connect and the then it stops receiving or sending after about 400-500 bytes. If you pick up the phone it still sounds like its connected and the modem still shows an active connection.
Any thoughts and help on this would be great
