Hello friends,
I m having a laptop and win 98 installed on it. i access the internet thgh modem. It was working properly. Now i m having a problem when i put user name and password and tried to dial, it start dialling but after reaching "verifying username and password..." it gave the message "Disconnecting...." and try to redial. I ran the windows 98 setup again and after that when i tried to access the internet it worked properly but after closing or after restarting it started giving me the same probs again. What i mean after running setup again it runs only for the first time properly. Can anybody help so that my internet starts running properly.

Firstly its not a problem with ur modem,
plz provide error number to give u exact solution.
it might be a username/password mismatch,decomissioned access number etc.

ur ISP should definitely fix it for u,call up tech support or provide just a bit more info.

error number is 629 and sometimes 650
