i had an internal modem but it doesnt have any driver or any name on the card. i can see a number is printed on the main chip.it si 56 pci, R6787.can give me the driver software for this card.

You can go to www.driverguide.com and register as a member. Once inside go to step 3 and type in the fcc id of the modem and it will tell you who made the modem and if anyone has found drivers for that modem, they will be posted there for download. DriverGuide has bailed me out numerous times not only on modems, but on video and sound cards. Give it a try.

may by yours modem is somewere near.
p.s.
i just type R6787 in search engine and copy from there first string it gives me.
coudnt you do the same?
