I've got a problem with mmtask & a blessing on you and your family if you can suggest an explanation & offer a solution.
Whilst on the web, I get a warning screen stating "[Mmtask] has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.... MMTASK caused a general protection fault in module KRNL386.exe at 0002:00002c7e..." This seems to happen only when I'm surfing & has happened 5 times so far this week. However, it doesn't seem to affect the running of any of my software.
ps, I'm running Win 98 with MS Office and only a handful of other programmes.
