I get the mmsystem281 message or the "Cannot play back the file. The format is not supported. (Error=80040265)" from the 'latest greatest' Windows Media Player 6.4(currently the latest). I have an elsa Winner II AGP card w/32Megs Ram, a Creative 6x PC-DVD EIDE player, and a PCI hardware decoder card (so as not to wear a track on my HD with a soft dvd player). I have tried all file types allotted to the Windows Media Player 6.4.07...none listed.... some files look like, Video_ts, Video_ts.bup, Vts_01_0...and more of the same type of files...help me please anyone. I will owe you one.
