Hi I went to use the Mail Merge function in MS Word yesterday only to discover that it has gone missing... I had used it before (it was under the "tools" heading).
I have tried to repair Word (from CD) to no avail.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail.
I d/led the service pack... still nothing.
Any suggestions as to what would make a menu item disappear? And, how does one make it RE-appear???

Hi John. You may have deleted something by mistake. I would suggest this. Register Fix. Go to start, Run, type scanreg /restore Remember to leave a space between the g and the /. Then set the register back a day or two, to before you had the problem. Have a nice day.
I had that happen to me once. The first thing to try is renaming your normal.dot to normal.dotOld and restart. Go to Start -Find- Normal.dot-right click on it and rename it to normal.dotOld. Word will recreate a new normal.dot the next time it is opened. If your problem is fixed, no problem. If not you can go back and rename normal.dotOld to normal.dot.
Summary: How do I get rid of the EZP in the tool bar in word 2000. There's about 15 of them in a clients top toolbar and he keeps geting more. I think it has something to do with the Easy Photo Macros but not ...
