I have an Acer 233 in the back room, and all of a sudden the sound stopped working on the computer (no sound on anything, midi, cd, windows boot-up, etc...)
I did the start, run "sfc" thing & tried to load the files from the windows 98 cd, but it couldn't find the file there either. When i run the program "Help Spot" which came with this computer (Gateway 400 XL) it comes up with the same message (missing sndvol32.exe) also.
Is there anywhere online i can go to download this needed file for that particular computer, or if possible use this computer for the download to a floppy disk to transfer the file somehow.
I'm not very good with computers as you are probably now well aware of. Please email me if you can at DOCUsless@aol.com

Thanks In Advance,
Don

This file comes with win. You need a cab viewer to find it on the win 98.http://www.kiarchive.ru:8090/pub/windows/viewer
