Windows will no longer load.getting missing krnl386.exe access denied message.Computer cannot/will not boot from a start up disk.Won't start in safe mode.Can only get a dos command prompt.Can't access Win 95 CD from dos.Can't access CD rom drivers from floppy.Help.Have researched this problem.I can't find a solution.

So what happens when you try and boot from the start up disk. Do you get an error message?

Nothing happens.It's not reading the disk.It's doing the same thing that it does when there's no disk in the drive.I get prompted the same as if I press f8 when booting.If I select anything other than command prompt,I get missing KRNL386.exe error.If I press any key I get the "you can safely shutdown your computer now" screen.
