Hi Mema:there is one at www.mot.com/mims/lexicus/patches/index.html.......scroll down to the bottom. download it to a floppy, then unzip it to c:\windows\system.I believe it's about 440K zipped and 940K unzipped.

I also had errors with missing files liked every time I came on line. Cleared by using following: Start to Programs to Accessories, then selected Systems Tools to ScanDisk. Program scans hard disk for errors, cross-linked files, finds lost file fragments, and then it fixed errors and cleared startup errors. Also, found two errors that had not yet appeared as startup errors.

I have been getting this message when I start my computer. It says: Error Starting Program POPEXAM.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6467 However, it came on after getting a screen that said: ocraware.exe Cannot find the file 'ocraware.exe' (or one of it's components.) Make sure the path and filename are correce and that all requited libraries are available. I don't know what to do about this. Would it possibly have anything to do with deleting AOL 4 and then having to get the cd to download AOL 5 again? Could it have anything to do with that?? Please help!!!

I am also getting a message:POPEXAM.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6467. I believe it relates to the Norton utilities and it was aggrevated by the install of additional software. In my case, digital camera software. I plan to reload the dll, assuming it is corrupt.

Quick fix if your computer is running great
only problem being the error box.I have the fix.
Use "find" to see what folder is associated with "BR_SRVC.DLL".Right click the folder
rename it.Error box should go away.Hope it works for all
it fixed my problem instantly. My "dll" was associated with
C:Program Files/Encompass . A file that H.P. put in the
pavillion from the factory.

My Error is: "fpcutl.dll file linked to missing export mfc42.dll:6880"
This problem is related to FrontPage2000. But not because of FP. Even I re-installed mfc42 and FP2000 again, it did the same each time I try to run FP2000. This happen even all related files in that error message exist on my hard drive. If you need mfc42.dll for re-installing it, you should send me an e-mail

To resolve this issue, extract a new copy of the Mfc42.dll file from your
original Windows 98 CD-ROM into the Windows\System folder using the System File
Checker tool.

To start the System File Checker tool, click Start, click Run, type "sfc.exe"
(without the quotation marks) in the Open box, and then click OK.
