Missing export mfc42.dll:6467 & 6442

Hello.. I get this when trying to start Front Page '98:
"Error Starting Program The LITESCAN.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6467".
I get this error message when trying to start Windows '95:
"Error Starting Program The FP30CUTL.DLL file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6442".
I downloaded a freeware 'War FTP' Program and installed it. Every sense then I have been getting these error messages. I already uninstalled it but still getting theses error messages. Can you please help or tell me where I can download a patch?
Looks like War FTP messed up and replaced you r mfc42.dll with an older version and/or deleted it when ininstall was run. Here's some links to mfc42.dll info

When I do a Find Files on my PC for mfc42.dll it produces no less than 3.
The most current, I believe, is 973kb in size and has a version number of 6.00.8447.0.
If you can locate this version you can just copy it to the C:\Windows\System folder and allow it to overwrite the one that is in there if it exists.
Otherwise you can locate the same version doing a search as mentioned in Response Number 1.

Version 6.00.8447.0 of the mfc42.dll file is included in the Critical Update of September, 10, 1999. Simply download this update at the Windows Update or Windows Update Corporate sites. It's also included in at least the AOL 5.0 software.
