Comment:

Whenever I try to open a program I get this error message: "The QUARTZ.DLL file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL:DelayLoadFailureHook." What exactly does this mean and, if there is anyway to fix it can you let me know?

Try reinstalling/upgrading DirectX

This happens for every program you attempt to open, or just multimedia? Can you run DXDiag? Did this just start recently, and, if so, did you recently install/change something on your machine?

Tech Support: "I need you to boot the computer."

Customer: THUMP! Pause. "No, that didn't help."
