Properly, you have deleted or removed one fo the system DLL files. This file is called Microsoft Foundation Class (MFC)

so you better to get one.

Sometime when you remove applications, there are some DLL files that assoicate with them, and the windows will ask you "do you want to keep this file". You should reply with "yes, keep this file"

Good Luck

This problem is related to Microsoft Money 99. You can:

1. Uninstall or reinstall Money 99 or
2. Upgrade to Money 2000

This should work.

The error MNYUI.DLL FILE IS LINKED TO MISSING EXPORT MFC42.DLL is caused by the MS Money Agent loading in the background when Windows starts up. If you have Windows 98, you can disable this the following way:

* Click the Start button.
* Click on "Run".
* Type in "msconfig" (without the quotation marks) and click OK.
* Click on the startup tab.
* Uncheck the line "Money Agent".
* Click OK.
* You will be asked to restart the computer; click "Yes".

This *should* clear up the problem.
