I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to "fix" my computer. It has win 98 and, every time I start it up, I get message:a required dll file, EZTEXT. dll was not found. also, when I tried to use my greetings, I got message that MFC42.dll:6880 was missing, and MHPEBC.dll removed notice. I tried reinstalling microsoft graphics to no avail. HELP PLEASE this is driving me nuts!!!!!
Do you have rapid access keyboard? I believe that eztext.dll is part of thats programing files. I would try reinstalling it.
Also, with windows 98, you can go to the start button, to run, and type in sfc.
You might be able to reinstall it from there.

I think bob is right.... I just received the same message today and the rapid access keys on my keyboard I just found out are completly uselss... and i remember using the mute button yesterday.

i have also been getting this message whenever i start up. my keyboard also gives me volume control but that has ceased to work. do you know why?

I found the solution. I had the exact same error, and the permanent fix is to reinstall the IBM Rapid Access Keyboard driver. You can find the files (rakv13n1.exe and rakv13n2.exe) at this URL: http://www-1.ibm.com/servlet/support
Do a keyword search for eztext.dll and download the two files above to a temporary file. Once downloaded, just double-click each and they will unzip. Lastly, click on setup.exe. Then re-start your computer and you are all set! I was ignoring this error for the longest time, but decided to finally fix it. Good Luck!

Hi all!!
I think I have found out the solution to the "missing eztext.dll" file. Chris (respond #6)was right. It has to deal with IBM Rapid Access Keyboard Driver. I did a little surfing and found out that if u copy all the .dll files to your system directory and then restart your computer than it should not give any further errors. The command I gave was:
copy C:\ibmtools\*.dll \windows\system
This will copy 5 dll files to your system directory.

When ever I try to go into Real Jukebox or anything having to do with Real, I get an error message saying that I have a missing PNCRT DLL file. Please help!

Chris was right on. I went into Dos and
C:\windows>
copy C:\ibmtools\*.dll\windows\system and hit Enter... 5 dll.files were copied I restarted and there was NO Error message. Just make sure you leave a space after*.dll \ or it won't work.
