missing ddl file

hi, i've download a game (lemmis)+i've set it up in my computer.i wanted to play with, i've got a message that one file (ddl sort) is missing.is it a software problem or is there some missing files in MY computer? thank you, chanit

actually there is a missing file. when you get the error message windows should also tell you the name of the file. if you repost the name of the missing file someone may be able to help you out.
until then you are on your own...

Normally programs install the (DLL?) files that they need.

Hey chanit, That file's part of DirectX 8.0a. If you've not updated your directX, perhaps now's the time? (N.B. Not recommended for win98)

To solve your problem you will have to download & install DirectX 8.0a. Check the link under my name and read the second paragraph under "Crashes". Hope this helps.

I am trying to install my printer and a message says missing FINSTALL.dll, where can I download it?
Summary: When I try to start yahoo messenger it says that a file is missing....the file is IDLE.dll I found that file on a web site...but when you download it...where do you download it to..save to disk or run...
