i have seen sites on how to make mini windows3.1 and mini win98 where only the bare minimum of files are used to give a limited functionality of these os's using the installation files is there a site on making a mini windows 95 system

If you Google around there is something out there called 98Lite. Never used it but it seems about what you are after.
