Does anybody know how to turn a midi into a wav?

Go to www.hotfiles.com and download cooledit or any equivalent utility.

you can't really convert a MIDI file into a .WAV file because they are two different things. a MIDI file is not actually audio data; it is a sequence of commands that controls a synthesizer which then generates artificial representations of real world instruments. a .WAV file is a digital representation of an actual analog sound wave. this is why a MIDI file of an electric guitar doesn't really sound like a guitar; it is an approximation of what a real guitar sounds like. you can, however, record the output of the MIDI synth to a .WAV file using a program like CoolEdit as suggested above.
