The error is stated in subject, occurs in a popup message box and along with yellow triangle icon says "An error has occurred in the script on this page. The script operation has been cancelled" What application or update am I missing? I get these Internet Explorer Script Errors on virtually every webpage and I cannot access Windows Update page as a result..This machine has not been used for at least 3 years..Thanks for any and all responses..

Download or get IE5 or later from a Computer Magazine CD, that will fix the problem :o)

Now a days every web page uses scripts to control different things, and sometimes you need the newer version of the browser to handle scripts, Upgrade your browser, that will solve your script problems.
