I have a USB Microsoft Intellimouse explorer. It works using the USB to PS/2 adaptor that comes with it, but when I plugged it into my USB port for the first time, it was detected and asked for the required software, but then didnt work. I tried restarting but it still is not detected. I can only use it on the PS/2 port.
