Message during start up!

I have WINDOWS 98 and when i try to turn it on it says:
Type the name of the Command Interpreter (e.g., C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM)

What can i do?? I really need my computer to work!

Boot with your 98 EBD (Emergency Boot Disk) and at the resulting A:\> prompt, type in

sys c:

and hit ENTER. Reboot.
