every time i turn my computer on it say press esc to skip memory test how can i stop it from saying that

it is 256 mb ram

please tell me someone thanks

You can disable the memory test from your BIOS. I can't think of where exactly, but just take a look around the BISO, and somewhere it'll give you the option to bypass the memory test.

Press F1 when the computer starts & you will see BIOS setup utility . Look at "boot" menu , and u will see "rapid BIOS........" option . if it is "disabled" just "enable" it.

Exactly what you have to do in BIOS varies from machine to machine.

On mine it will do either one memory test cycle or three (in BIOS Features Setup, under Quick Power On Self Test - "enable" sets the faster test). Maybe they are wise to not allow me to completely prevent a memory test......

The method for getting into BIOS also varies, on mine you press Del during boot.
